For the second time, we have run the Fulda Model United Nations together with students from Autonomous University Madrid (Spain), University of Zagreb (Croatia), Catholic University of Lviv (Ukraine), and of course Fulda University of Applied Sciences (Germany).

Elected as Dean of Studies

Since April 2023, I serve as Dean of Studies (Studiendekan) at our Department of Social and Cultural Studies of Fulda University of Applied Sciences. I’m very much looking forward to this work in our Dream Dean Team.

Point Alpha Institute Kick off Event

Work at the newly establushed Point Alpha Institute at Geisa, Thuringia will start on May 3, 2022 with an inaugural event and a kick off workshop on the current Ukraine situation on May 4, 2022. Please find more information here (in German).

Point Alpha Research Institute

On June 17, 2021, we have established an association (Verein) to launch the Point Alpha Research Institite on the former inner-German border between Hessen and Thuringia. The Institute will be run as a collaboration between Fulda University of Applied Sciences and University of Erfurt and be funded by the Federal State of Thuringia. Work will address Cold War Studies, Border Studies, and questions of Democracy in a Global Order.

On April 29, 2021, I have been appointed Professor in Political Science (Politics of Human Rights) at Fulda University of Applied Sciences.
